New Delhi: It seems the director Ram Gopal Varma's latest venture 'Department' has failed to grab attention at the box office. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweets,"EXCLUSIVE DATA: #Department is a disaster in UK, USA, Aus, NZ, Fiji, except UAE."
The film was not received with much enthusiasm after its release on May 18. The audiences as well as the critics had shown reluctance in giving a thumbs up to the film. Adarsh further tweets about the break ups,"#Department 'opening weekend' UK £ 14,003 [Rs 12.06 lacs] ... USA $ 58,977 [Rs 32.39 lacs] ... Ram Gopal Varma had lashed out on critics also for unfavourable reviews of 'Department'. Later he also criticized Sanjay Dutt of interfering too much in his filmmaking process.
