Maharashtra is on high alert after four blasts in Malegaon town in Nashik district on Friday killed at least 31 people and injured hundreds.
Nashik (Maharashtra): A bomb was defused outside a busy hospital in Nashik on Monday.
According to initial reports received here, the bomb was detected outside Lifeline Hospital, a crowded healthcare centre in the city, around afternoon.
A bomb disposal squad rushed to the spot to diffuse the device, which was linked to remote control devices. Police are examining the materials used to make the bomb and whether it's similar to the bombs used in Malegaon and in Mumbai on July 11.
