Bollywood sends Nadira into oblivion
Apart from a few close friends, the film fraternity hasn't exactly come out for the reclusive actress.

Mumbai: Bollywood's most stylish screen vamp Nadira, who acted in films like Aan, Shree 420 and Pakeezah, is currently recuperating from a heart attack in Mumbai's Bhatia hospital.

A close associate of Nadira, actress Deepti Naval, who was among the first people to visit her in the hospital complains about Bollywood's forgetful nature.

"Yes, people tend to forget. This is the nature of our business. People come together for projects, when the projects get over, people move on, they stay in touch for a while & then that also fizzles out," says Naval.

Deepti, who directed her TV serial Thoda sa Aasman recalls her friendship with the actress: "She is so awfully special and one of her kind."

Though still in the Intensive Care Unit, Nadira is said to be well on the road to recovery.

Among those who dropped by to wish her was close friend and co-star from her heydays — Nimmi and Milind Soman — who worked with Nadira in the television series, Margarita.

"She is great fun to work with, very witty, charming and full of anecdotes. It is a shock to see her like this and I hope she gets well soon," says Soman.
