BANGALORE: Supporting anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare’s campaign to demand a strong Jan Lok Pal Bill, India Against Corruption has organised a series of bike rallies in the city. The purpose of these rallies is to create awareness and garner support for Anna’s cause.The multiple bike rallies have pre-decided routes on different days. Participating in the rally, the IAC volunteers will stop and talk to people to create more awareness. For more information, contact 9740700449.Meanwhile, Swabhiman Sanghatan has decided to support Anna Hazare’s hunger strike.Volunteers of the Sanghatan have decided to go on a hunger strike from 9 am to 6 pm at Freedom Park on August 16.Addressing the press, B Somashekhar, President, Swabhiman Sanghatan, said that the bill is being unnecessarily delayed and that the decision to bring the Prime Minister under the purview of the bill has still not been taken. The members from the Sanghatan felt that generating citizen support for the Bill is important.
