New Delhi: Asus unveiled two new smartphones at the 2015 International CES in Las Vegas. The Asus ZenFone 2 is the company's new flagship phone that features an all-new design, 13-megapixel PixelMaster camera, and a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor with 4GB RAM.
ZenFone 2 has a brushed-metal finish and concentric-circle detailing. It has a curved case that tapers to an incredibly thin 3.9 mm at the edges. The phone comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS+ screen with an ultra-narrow bezel that reduces ZenFone 2's overall size yet provides a maximized viewing experience.
According to Asus, its 3000mAh battery provides more than enough power to get through the day, and it also features fast-charge technology for dramatically-reduced recharge times.
Besides the new flagship, the company also announced the ZenFone Zoom that sports a 13-megapixel camera with a 3X optical zoom. ZenFone Zoom's rear camera features a 10-element lens design with up to a 12X digital zoom for even finer close-up detail. ZenFone Zoom also has an optical image stabilizer (OIS) for shake-free photos.
The ZenFone 2 will be available at $199 starting from March, while the ZenFone Zoom will go on sale in Q2 at $399.
