Thousands of Hindu devotees from East Godavari district travel to Arunachaleswarar Temple in Tamil Nadu on the occasion of a full moon. From driving their private vehicles to hiring rented cars and public transport, the Lord Shiva devotees never miss a chance to visit the Arunachaleswarar Temple.
As the number of visitors is gradually increasing, the RTC officials of Kakinada district have decided to run a special bus for the ease of devotees. It will help the passengers to return to their homes in a day after visiting Arunachalesvara Temple.
Depot Manager T Kiran Kumar said that the special bus will start on July 19. It will depart from Tuni RTC Complex which is a suburb of Kakinada district. He said that along the journey, the bus would make a stop at six temples which include Vijayawada’s Durga Malleswara Swamy Temple, Sri Kalahasti Temple, Kanipakam Vinayaka Temple, Golden Temple in Tamil Nadu, and Arunachaleswarar Temple. The RTC bus will stay there until Giri Pradakshina.
It will also visit to the Kanchi Divya Kshetra. After these six darshans, the RTC bus will arrive at East Godavari district. The price of this super luxury bus is 3500 per person. The RTC officials inform that all the devotees should take advantage of this opportunity to travel in a comfortable and safe RTC bus. The officials have informed that if there are enough passengers for a bus in some villages then it will make another trip to that region to onboard the remaining passengers.
Similarly, RTC buses are also available for Appanna Swami Giri Pradakshina in Visakhapatnam. Appanna Swami Giri Pradakshina is a ritual that takes place around the Simhachalam temple in Andhra Pradesh. The Depot Manager, T Kiran Kumar encouraged people to avail the benefits of this special bus to have a comfortable and spiritual journey. This special bus will help the devotees to visit six temples in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu along with their destination of Arunachaleswarar.
