AP to take lessons in security

HYDERABAD: The state government has constituted a committee of officials to visit the State Secretariats in Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka to study the security arrangements in place there.
It will study the security arrangements, entry of visitors, entry of vehicles, parking of vehicles, procedure followed in allowing the former ministers, MLAs, MLCs, MPs and their followers and issuance of passes, and submit a report to the state government.The committee consists of joint secretary (Gen) GAD/assistant secretary (Gen) GAD, DG ( SPF) or his representative, IG (Intelligence) or his representative (nominated DSPIntelligence), chief security officer (CSO) Secretariat, president or secretary of AP Secretariat Association, and president or secretary of TGOs Association.
