HYDERABAD: Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has instructed the officials of Department of Technical Education to request the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to exempt students from Andhra Pradesh from appearing for the newly introduced Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) for the current academic year.According to AICTE, all the management students in the country have to take CMAT to pursue MBA and PGDBM from 2012-13. The test will be held from February 20 to 28.The chief minister asked the officials to make a representation to the AICTE seeking exemption for the students of AP as they do not have sufficient time to prepare for the test.
