Annamayya Sankeertana at Ravindra Bharathi Today

HYDERABAD: Annamacharya Sankeertana Sammohanam would be held on Tuesday at Ravindra Bharati. Devotional music exponent Garimella Balakrishna Prasad and Parupalli Sri Ranganath of the Annamacharya Project of Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam (TTD) will bring to life the rich repertoire of Annamacharya’s compositions. The sankeertana programme is open to all and will be compered by Dr. Kamisetti Srinivasulu, former director of TTD’s Annamacharya Project. Former chief minister K. Rosaiah would be the chief guest and film artist Tanikella Bharani and noted Kuchipudi danseuse Shobha Naidu would grace the programme.The erstwhile Asthana gayaka of TTD Garimella Balakrishna Prasad has set to tune over 600 of Annamacharya sankeertanas.
