TIRUCHY: Former minister and DMK MLA Anitha Radhakrishnan, was released on bail on Saturday, crossing several technical hurdles in his bail order.
Anitha Radhakrishnan was supposed to be released following the bail order delivered by the Thoothukudi Sessions court on Wednesday. However, the sub section 3 of crime number 185 was not included in the bail order on which he was charged in the court order.
After coming out of the jail, Anitha Radhakrishnan alleged that former minister and DMK senior leader Veerapandi S Arumugam was not being provided proper medical attention. “The 74 year old man finds it very hard to lie on the floor and whatever basic facilities he is seeking are denied,” Anita said.
He also said the AIADMK government had been arresting the DMK leaders and functionaries to cripple the party activities.
