SP leader Amar Singh is drumming up support from all non-Congress, non-BJP chief ministers on the phone-tapping issue.
New Delhi: Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh — the tapping of whose phone had triggered a controversy — discussed the issue with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa at the state Secretariat in Chennai on Thursday.
The SP leader said he's moving the Supreme Court in connection with the phone tap issue.
Describing the incident as a "conspiracy to destabilise the government" in Uttar Pradesh, he demanded a thorough probe into the case.
He is also drumming up support from all non-Congress, non-BJP chief ministers on the issue.
