Mumbai: Eight people have died after a medical store caught fire in Andheri West in Mumbai on Thursday.
One person who sustained burn injuries is critical and is being treated at the hospital.
The fire erupted at around 6 am on Thursday at Wafa medical store at wireless road in Andheri West. The fire has been doused.
The store is at the ground floor and the families were staying at first floor and second floor.
"Primarily it seems that the reason may be Short Circuit. But have to establish after due investigation," DCP Ashok Dudhe, Mumbai Police Spokesperson said.
