3 'Women' Arrested for Extorting Money from Train Passengers in Ajmer; Claim to be Eunuchs

In a shocking incident reported from Ajmer, Rajasthan, three individuals masquerading as eunuchs were apprehended by the Government Railway Police (GRP) for extorting money from train passengers. The suspects had been frequenting the railway station, dressed as women and engaging in disruptive behaviour, prompting numerous complaints from commuters.

The GRP acted on persistent complaints from passengers who alleged harassment and monetary demands by the trio during train journeys. The suspects, identified as Arjun Gurjar (alias Sona Gurjari), Rahul Kumar (alias Ronica Bairwa), and Karan Singh Rawat (alias Payal), were intercepted by the police at the railway station following another sighting.

Station in-charge of Ajmer GRP, Anil Dev, said that when asked to identify themselves, these three claimed to be eunuchs. However, upon further investigation at the police station, it was revealed that the accused were actually men posing as eunuchs to extort money from unsuspecting passengers. Their actions were causing considerable disturbance and inconvenience to travellers, Dev added.

The accused have been arrested under charges of disturbing public peace and fraudulent activities. Constables Mann Singh and Sumerchand were instrumental in the operation that led to their apprehension. The Ajmer GRP has registered a case against the accused under relevant sections of the law and continues to investigate further into the matter.
