Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh: Ten jawans of the Mizoram Armed Force were killed when Naxalites ambushed a police vehicle near Konta in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada district, about 560 Km from state capital Raipur on Thursday.
The jawans were on their way to Banda from Konta in a jeep when Naxalites blasted the vehicle with landmines, said local police official, Rahul Sharma.
A child and another man, the driver, were also killed in the attack, Sharma said.
The soldiers were on their way home from a shopping trip.
