Deleting a Calendar with a Computer

Go to https://calendar.google.com/calendar/r?pli=1 in a web browser. You can delete a calendar from any desktop web browser. Log in if prompted.

Click the Settings icon Android 7 Settings. You'll see this gear icon in the top right corner of the page.

Click Settings. This is usually the first listing in the menu.

Click the calendar you want to delete. You'll see the names of the calendars you are currently subscribed to listed in the vertical menu on the left side of the page.

Click Remove Calendar. This is usually the last option in the menu that slides down. Once you click Remove Calendar, the right side of the page will change.

Click Unsubscribe or Delete. If you have the option to delete a calendar, you created it, and deleting it will make it disappear for everyone subscribed.

Confirm the action. If you unsubscribed, you'll need to click Remove calendar. Anyone else subscribed to that calendar will still have access to it. If you opted to Delete in the previous step, you'll need to confirm the action by clicking Permanently delete. Once you remove a calendar this way, it will not appear on your mobile device.

Hiding a Calendar on a Mobile Phone or Tablet

Open the Google Calendar app. This app icon looks like a flip card date that you'll find on one of your Home screens, in the app drawer, or by searching.

Tap ☰. You'll see this in the top left corner of your screen.

Tap to uncheck boxes next to the calendar you want to hide. You can hide all the calendars if you want to. Tap them again to show them on your calendar.
