Open the American Airlines app. The airlines app will be the blue and red "wing" pattern on a white background.
Log in, if you haven't already done so. Use your American Airlines account details to login to the app and tap Log in once completed.
Tap your name card at the top of the Dashboard. You will often find your name card just below the American logo and envelope icon near the top of the page. It will contain the status of your AAdvantage membership and how many miles you've earned.
Pull the bottom bar up so it exposes your complete list of items. You can either tap the "^" button or you can manually pull it open; scroll this list up and out until you can see the list of available options.
Tap the View AAdvantage card button which will be found at the bottom of the screen.
Tap the Add button in the top right corner of Apple Wallet.
Exit out of the American Airlines app.
Ensure your American AAdvantage card has been saved. Open Apple Wallet and find the card. If it isn't in there, you've missed a step. Go back and try again.
