London: Queens Park Rangers and Reading remain winless in the Premier League after drawing 1-1 on Sunday, leaving both teams rooted in the bottom three. Former France striker Djibril Cisse rescued a point for QPR by poking home a close-range finish in the 66th minute for a point that provisionally lifts the team off the bottom, above Southampton on goal difference.

However, the result will increase the pressure on manager Mark Hughes, who has so far received the unqualified backing of club owner Tony Fernandes despite his side picking up just four points from 10 games.

Former QPR defender Kaspars Gorkss put third-bottom Reading in front in the 16th, hooking home an acrobatic finish after a goalmouth scramble. Southampton's game in hand comes Monday against West Bromwich Albion.
