London: Many Premier League clubs have shown interest in Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, but according to Goal.com, new Blues' boss Jose Mourinho has asked the Belgian to stay on.
Despite looking for a star striker in the transfer market, Mourinho, a source told Goal.com is in no mood to let go Lukaku. "He is Jose's type of player and he wants to take a look at him," the source was quoted as saying. "He can offer something different and has a similar style to Didier Drogba who Jose loves."
EPL clubs Everton and Fulham have shown keen interest in the Belgian striker, but he is expected to travel with Chelsea on their pre-season tour. However, he is yet to score for the Blues in 12 appearances since his £18 million move in 2011.
He scored 17 goals while on loan at West Brom last season.
