Hitch in Gonzalo Higuain's Arsenal move?

London: Arsenal's transfer deal for Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain has hit a snag after reports have surfaced that the Spanish club want more.

Earlier, it was believed the 25-year-old was on the brink of arriving in north London for a medical but now Marca say there is still no agreement between the two clubs.

However, Arsenal insiders believe that the transfer is almost complete and eventually the Argentine will be a Gunner soon in a deal which is believed to be in the region of 24 million pounds.

If he does sign, Higuain's move will most likely smash Arsenal's club record transfer fee.
