After a lot of speculations, it seems that Napoli's Edinson Cavani is finally heading to Stamford Bridge. According to a report in Daily Mail, Chelsea have reportedly agreed on a £49.3m deal to sign the Uruguayan striker.
After single-handedly dominating the Serie A season being the leading goal-scorer, Cavani was one of the prime reasons for Napoli finishing second in the points table.
The 26-year-old Uruguayan forward had earlier desired a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid but Chelsea seem to have sealed the deal with a whopping deal. Real on the other hand, seem to have had their way through with Gareth Bale.
The Telegraph reported that Napoli radio station Radio Marte announced, "We have received news in the office from a very reliable source that Napoli have sealed a deal with Chelsea for Cavani's sale."
