Barcelona's Adriano out of Copa game due to injury

Barcelona: Barcelona defender Adriano will miss the Copa del Rey game on Thursday against Cordoba because of a leg injury.

The Spanish club says Adriano has hurt his right ankle. It is not clear when he will return to action.

The Brazilian has scored five goals in the Spanish league this season.

Barcelona won 2-0 in the first leg of the round-of-16 match against lower-division club Cordoba. The team also leads the Spanish league by 11 points.
