New Delhi: Five-month-old octopus Paul II, successor to the famous octopus Paul who predicted the outcome of eight matches at the FIFA World Cup held in South Africa, made his public debut in Germany on Wednesday.
Paul II came out of two-month quarantine to explore his new tank at the Sea Life aquarium in Oberhausen. Weighing around 10.5 ounces, it isn't yet clear if this Paul will also try his hand at forecasting as his keepers at the aquarium aren't yet promising any deep football insight from the youngster.
The original Paul became an instant celebrity after he started predicting World Cup results correctly. Unfortunately, he died peacefully in his sleep on October 26 this year.
The Sea Life aquarium manager Stefan Porwoll said he was yet to meet the "media star" personally.
