In Pics: Actress Adah Sharma's Teary-eyed Photoshoot In Banarsi Silk Saree

Actress Adah Sharma is known for her acting stints in the films 1920, Commando, Heart Attack, etc. She is also known for her charming and glamorous looks and recently took the internet by storm with a photo shoot in a Banarsi silk saree with floral imprints.

The 1920 actress opted for a combination of her pictures in monochrome colours and also without any filter. She accessorised her look with a Matha Patti and added further allure to the look with a rose in her hand. For the makeup part, she opted for a flawless base on her face, a shade of red lipstick and completed her look with an eyeliner. The actress posed against the backdrop of a house. In a rather unique gesture, she added the photo of a smiling baby monkey holding a rose in the last photograph. A few of the pictures also show the actress teary-eyed.

Adah last acted in the film Bastar: The Naxal Story directed by Sudipto Sen. She was criticised by the critics for her weak performance in the film. The reviewers also criticised the film for propagating half-truths and equating an entire ideology with extremist violence. Anangsha Biswas, Vikrant Chaturvedi, Ranjit Deval and others also acted in this movie backed by A Vipul Amritlal Shah Production, Last Monk Media and Sunshine Pictures.

In an interaction with the Firstpost, Adah answered the allegations regarding this film. She said,” “It’s about our 76 jawans being butchered. And I think that’s just wrong. I’m a citizen first and I believe that if someone harms our armed forces, that’s wrong. We’ve seen a lot of movies where they’re being attacked by external forces.”

Besides this film, Adah looks forward to her acting stints in other movies Tibba, The Game of Girgit and an untitled project. Talking about Tibba, Gaurav Khati has directed the film which is touted to be a psychological thriller. Gaurav is also the writer of the movie along with Avijit Bose and Abhishek Baluni. Darsheel Safary, Sonali Kulkarni, Manoj Verman and Vishal Tiwari acted in the film. Tibba is currently in the post-production phase and its release date has not been disclosed in the public domain.
