The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is expected to release the admission card for the UPSC Civil Service Exam 2024 soon. According to the latest official announcement, the UPSC CSE  2024 preliminary exam is scheduled for June 16. The UPSC CSE preliminary exam will be conducted offline at designated testing locations. Aspirants planning to take the exam can download their admit card from the official website, upsc.gov.in once it has been released.

Information like the candidate’s name, birth date, gender, category, roll number, exam date and time, photo, signature and exam centre details will all be included on the admit card. The applicant must carefully review the personal information mentioned on their UPSC CSE admit card. The personal information is a reflection of the official records, and any inconsistency in the data will eventually result in the application being rejected.

UPSC Admit Card 2024: How to Download

Step 1: Visit the official websites: upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in.

Step 2: Look for the link “Download UPSC CSE Prelims Admit Card.”

Step 3: Enter your registration ID, birth date, security pin, and other login credentials.

Step 4: Your UPSC CSE Prelims Admit Card 2024 will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Download and print the UPSC CSE Prelims Admit Card 2024 for future reference.

On June 16, the UPSC CSE preliminary exam will take place. The UPSC exam was originally supposed to take place on May 26 but got postponed due to the Lok Sabha Election. It is anticipated that there will be about 1056 positions to be filled through the exam, 40 of which will be designated for individuals with benchmark disability categories.

The UPSC Prelims exam will be held in around 80 locations. There will be two objective-type (multiple-choice) examinations for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination where each paper carries up to 400 marks. The General Studies and Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) portions of the UPSC Prelims written exam will be administered in two shifts. The GS paper will be held from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, and 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm is when the second, or afternoon, session will take place. A minimum of 33 per cent will be required to pass the General Studies Paper-II of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination. Candidates will be allowed to take the exam in both English and Hindi language.
