The UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2024 correction window dates have been announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Candidates can get the official notification regarding the same by visiting UPSC’s official website, upsc.gov.in. According to the official notification, the correction window will begin today, March 7. The portal to make modifications in the UPSC CSE 2024 application form will be accessible at upsconline.nic.in.

The official announcement states that from March 7 to March 13, 2024, applicants may use the correction window on the Commission’s website, to change any entries they submitted (including their signature and photo) in their application for the CS (P)/IFoS (P) Exam 2024.

UPSC CSE 2024: How to make Correction to the Application form

Step 1: Visit upsconline.nic.in, the official UPSC website.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for the link titled “UPSC CSE 2024 application correction portal.”

Step 3: Select the link and successfully register using the requested information.

Step 4: Enter your OTR ID, password, email address, and mobile number to access the applicant’s portal.

Step 5: Comply with the instructions and make the changes/corrections that are required.

Step 6: Submit the updated UPSC CSE 2024 application form.

Candidates should log in to the OTR platform and carry out the appropriate action if they wish to make any changes to their OTR profile during this time. Furthermore, the application form’s Modification window cannot be used to change the OTR profile. Once their applications have been submitted, candidates will not be able to withdraw them.

A total of 1056 positions will be filled through the UPSC CSE 2024 recruitment process. The UPSC preliminary examination will be held on May 26. Those who pass the preliminary exam must then take the main exam, which is slated for October 19.

According to the official notification, candidates who pass the UPSC preliminary exam will then need to appear for the Civil Services (Main) Examination. To do this, they must reapply online, submit the Detailed Application Form-I, and provide scanned copies of their certificates and documents attesting to their date of birth, category, and educational background, along with the necessary examination fee.
