The College Board has declared the exam dates and registration deadlines for the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) exam for the academic year 2024-25. According to the schedule, the SAT exam for the August session will commence on August 24. Eligible candidates can register for the exam by visiting the official website of the board at satsuite.collegeboard.org. It is to be noted that students who want to appear for the SAT 2024 exam held on August 24 will have to register till August 9.
Applicants will have until August 13 to make changes, regular cancellation, and late registration for the SAT exam scheduled on August 24. Candidates who are willing to register for the test scheduled on August 24, 2024, are required to pay an application fee of USD 68 (approximately Rs 5,692), along with a regional fee of USD 43 (around Rs 3,600).
In case of late registration, students will need to pay USD 34 (approx. Rs 2,800), whereas for changing the test centre and cancelling the registration, interested candidates will have to pay USD 29 (Rs 2,400).
After the August 24 exam, the College Board has also announced the dates for the future examination. The next SAT 2024 will take place on October 5, followed by November 2, and December 7, this year. Post that, the exams will be held on March 8, May 3, and June 7, 2025. It is worth noting that the registration for all the dates has begun and students can appear for the SAT according to their qualification and eligibility.
