The round 2 registration process for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test- Undergraduate (NEET-UG) counselling 2024 has been extended by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Registration for Round 2 has been opened again and the choice filling process will end on Sept 16. The PwD portal has been activated and is available up to noon tomorrow, September 16. The facility of resignation without forfeiture will be available up to tomorrow, 11 am.
The counselling schedule has been revised to add new seats, the list of which is available on the official website. “It is for the information to all candidates that the competent authority has decided to extend the Schedule for Round-2 of UG Counselling 2024 and revise the schedule of further rounds to add new seats in the matrix of Round-2 in pursuance to fresh Letters of permission (LoPs) issued by NMC/ MoHFW,” reads the official notice by MCC.
Candidates can register themselves from the official website at mcc.nic.in. Those who were unable to get a seat during the first round of counselling can apply now. The seat allotment results will be announced on September 19 following which selected candidates will have to report to the colleges for further admission and document verification.
NEET UG Counselling 2024: How to register?
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) — mcc.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the ‘UG Medical’ section.
Step 3: Enter the ‘New Login Registration’ available under the candidate activity board.
Step 4: Enter the login details as asked such as NEET UG roll number, password and security pin.
Step 5: Fill up the application form and submit the application form.
Step 6: Pay the registration fee.
Step 7: Download the copy and take a printout or screenshot of it for future reference.
For All India Quota (15 per cent), Deemed, Central Universities, All AIIMS Institutes, JIPMER (Puducherry and Karaikal), MCC will conduct the four rounds of counselling at Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and Online Stray Vacancy Round.
