The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) is all set to announce the results for round 1 seat allotment this month. This comes days after the document verification process concluded for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2024 counselling. Once the seat allotments are announced, candidates can download the results from the official website at iiseradmission.in. According to the website, the first round of seat allotment results for IAT 2024 will come out on July 13, 2024.
Upon announcement, candidates can use their login credentials, such as their registration number and date of birth to log in and download the same. It is pertinent to note that the seats will be allotted based on their preferences, merit list and availability in institutes. Candidates can also choose to freeze or float their allotted seats. Meanwhile, IISER is expected to release the second and third rounds of counselling on July 20 and 26, respectively.
IISER Counselling 2024: Acceptance Fee For Round 1
Those who are allotted a seat in the first round of IAT counselling 2024 will need to pay an acceptance fee. For general and OBC candidates, the fee has been set at Rs 25,000, while for candidates from other categories, the fee is Rs 12,000.
After it is done, they can download the offer letter and complete the Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) to confirm their admission. The counselling process is being carried out for admissions to five-year BS-MS programmes and four-year BS in Engineering Sciences and Economic Sciences through the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2024. Earlier, the results of the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2024 were declared on June 25, 2024. The exam that was held on June 9, 2024, was computer-based and was conducted for a total of 180 minutes.
IISERs have been established by the Indian government at various places, including Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram and Tirupati, offering 5-year BS-Ms and 4-year BS courses to students.
