The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) will open the online application process for the posts of Assistant Professors (college cadre) in various subjects in the Higher Education Department, Haryana. Candidates interested in applying for the posts can visit the official website of the commission at hpsc.gov.in and submit their applications. As per the official notification, eligible candidates can apply for the posts till August 27.
Under the recruitment drive, the Haryana Public Service Commission aims to fill up a total of 2,424 posts. The recruitment process encompasses a screening test and a subject knowledge test. The screening test comprises 100 MCQs worth 100 marks and will be conducted for a duration of two hours, whereas the subject knowledge test will have 150 marks and will last for three hours.
HPSC Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree with 55 per cent marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned, relevant, or allied subject from an Indian university. Moreover, candidates must have knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric standard or in higher education.
Age Limit: To be eligible, candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 42 years, as on or before July 15, 2024.
HPSC Recruitment 2024: How to Apply
Step 1: Log in to the official website at regn.hpsc.gov.in or hpsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Look for and click on the link that reads, ‘HPSC recruitment 2024’ on the homepage.
Step 3: Upon registration, a login ID will be created.
Step 4: Applicants will have to complete the registration process by using the login ID and filling out the application form with the required details.
Step 5: Upload the required documents in the asked size and format.
Step 6: Pay the prescribed registration fee and submit the form.
Step 7: Keep a copy of the confirmation page and take a printout of the same for future reference.
HPSC Recruitment 2024: Application Fee
Male applicants falling under the general category, including dependent sons of ex-servicemen of Haryana, unreserved backward classes belonging to Creamy Layer, and male candidates of all other states are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1000, whereas female candidates from the unreserved category, female candidates of all other states, and male/female candidates of SC, BC-A, BC-B, and ESM categories of Haryana will have to pay the fee of Rs 250 to appear for the exam.
