Ellyse Perry went on to shatter the window pane of the display car during the final home game in Bengaluru against the UP Warriorz.

Ellyse Perry was in full flow for the Royal Challengers Bangalore as she went on to hit a maximum which went on to shatter the window of the Tata Punch EV car on display.

The Australian all-rounder was at her best with the bat as she went on to hit a blistering half-century. She went on to hit four boundaries and four sixes in her knock.

Perry, however, was dismissed in the final over of the first innings. Sophie Ecclestone for the UP Warriorz managed to get the big wicket. Her tossed-up delivery, prompted the batter to go for the slog but found the fielder at the deep mid-wicket fielder who took the catch.

The RCB captain, Smriti Mandhana went on to score a brilliant 80 off 50 deliveries to push the home side’s score to 198 in 20 overs. Following her innings she is now the orange cap holder with a tally of 209 runs in 5 innings.

For the visitors, Ecclestone was the pick of the bowlers as the purple-cap holder was economical giving away just 22 runs in her four overs. The other bowlers were hit for runs and struggled to keep the home side in check.

This will be the final fixture for the side in Bengaluru as they look to finish off their home campaign on a strong note. The hosts have had a mediocre start to the tournament as they won two games and lost two as well.

The Warriorz on the other hand will have their task ahead of them as they will be required to chase down a massive target of 199 runs to secure the win.

The visitors will rely on the good start from their opener with the skipper Alyssa Healy in fine form with the bat as she has been able to capitalise on the powerplay to get an initial burst of runs.

Before the result of the ongoing match, RCB stands at fourth on the table with UPW just above them at third on the points table with both sides having four points each.
