The report stated that the stand used by the camera crew was covered from one side with a black cloth to curb the chance of monkeys stealing their eatables.

The Indian Express further reported that the Stand C at the Green Park stadium was closed for spectators on Friday after the Uttar Pradesh Public Work Department (UP PWD) deemed it unfit to accommodate the audience.

“An inspection was conducted by the PWD and Harcourt Butler Technical University three days before the match and found that some seats in C block cannot be used for spectators as it is not safe. About 1750 seats of the upper block are still available for spectators,” Kapoor was quoted as saying by the daily.
