Chennai Super Kings kicked off their journey in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on a resounding note. The defending champions, however, failed to showcase their A-game in the past few matches. After losing two consecutive games against the Lucknow Super Giants, CSK now find themselves in a worrying situation. They will have to come up with some brilliant performances in the remaining six matches to stay alive in the race for a playoff spot.
Out of those six games, three games will be played at their home– MA Chidambaram Stadium. When playing at Chepauk, CSK have always been a supreme force. The scene is quite the same this year. Despite suffering four losses this season, the five-time champions have undoubtedly showcased their dominance in home matches.
CSK have so far played four games at Chepuak in this IPL and emerged victorious in three of those. Their only defeat came in the last game against LSG, who beat them by six wickets in a high-scoring contest.
Like every year, the iconic stadium in Chennai has witnessed a sea of yellow on every occasion. CSK will play their next home against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 28. Fans can book tickets for the high-voltage encounter from the PAYTM app and www.insider.in.
