Riding on the success of his last release Maaveran, Sivakarthikeyan has treated his fans to another good news announcing the teaser release date of his next, Ayalaan. The Tamil star revealed the date of the Sci-Fi movie where he was seen alongside R Ravi Kumar, the film’s director and AR Rahman, the film’s music composer. The makers are planning to release the film’s teaser on October 6.

The post garnered attention as fans of Sivakarthikeyan heaped praise and wished the actor success. “Get ready to celebrate in space " read one of the comments.
Earlier, it was reported that the movie would be released during Christmas or New Year. But, since many films are scheduled at or around the same time, the makers reconsidered their decision. The movie will now be released during the Pongal weekend.
This will be director R Ravi Kumar’s first big-budget release after impressing with his 2015 release Indru Netru Naalai starring Vishnu Vishal. The film was both critically and commercially successful, helping R Ravi Kumar gain solid ground in the industry.
When the film’s shooting was over in January, fans were getting impatient with no updates. Being sci-fi, the movie needed heavy post-production and that’s why it was taking a lot of time.
The story of Ayalaan is said to be about the friendship between an alien and a human. Rakul Preet Singh will be seen opposite Sivakarthikeyan in this film. A song, titled Vera Level Sago, was released back in February 2021.
Sivakarthikeyan was last seen in Madonne Ashwin’s fantasy-action film Maaveeran along with Aditi Shankar and Saritha.
