Mumbai: After a volatile trading session, both the benchmark indices end flat with the Nifty below 6700. The Nifty was down 1.60 points at 6694.80 while the Sensex was down 13.91 points at 22403.89.

Tata Power and L&T lost 3 percent, while L&T, Hindalco and Maruti were other laggards in the Sensex. Among the gainers are Tata Power, Infosys, Wipro, Dr Reddy's Labs and TCS.
