New Delhi: In a troubles for Sahara chief Subrata Roy, the Supreme Court on Monday said that the complaint against him and two others of interfering with probe into the 2G spectrum allocation scam is maintainable. The apex court also issued notice to Roy and two others asking why investigation should not carried out against them.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had in 2011 moved the Supreme Court accusing Roy and two journalists of intimidating its officers investigating the 2G scam.
According to the ED, Roy's Sahara Group transferred Rs 150 crore to Swan Telecom allegedly in connection with the 2G scam, which relates to alleged irregularities in the allocation of spectrum to telecom companies.
