A day after the trailer of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was released, Karan Johar has now praised it. On Wednesday evening, KJo took to his Instagram stories, shared the trailer and called it “banging”. He sent wishes to the BMCM team and assured all that the film will surely be a “blockbuster”.
“What a banging trailer!!!!! This is a blockbuster loading – packed with masala, action and big screen entertainment!!! Cannot wait to witness the dhamaakedar chemistry of Bade Miyan and Chote Miyan…fireworks guaranteed this Eid!!!” Karan Johar wrote.
The trailer of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was released on Tuesday at a grand event in Mumbai. In the trailer, Akshay and Tiger go to great lengths to protect the nation from a terrorist attack. They perform intense stunts and deliver impactful dialogues. Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the antagonist, Kabir, who has hijacked a potent, powerful and dangerous weapon and Akshay and Tiger are entrusted with the task of getting it back safely. The film also stars Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F in key roles.
Previously, Salman Khan also praised the BMCM trailer and argued that the film might break records of his two blockbuster films, Tiger and Sultan. “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Akki n Tiger best of luck for the movie yeh bohut badi hit hogi. Loved the trailer and Ali u need to break tiger n sultan ka record with this one. Umeed hai ke Hindustan ko aap aur aap ko Hindustan Eidi dengein,” he wrote.

The original Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was directed by David Dhawan. It starred Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda in titular roles and was released in 1998. On the other hand, the new Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was announced in February 2023. Helmed by the celebrated director Ali Abbas Zafar and backed by Pooja Entertainment and AAZ Films, the film promises to be the biggest blockbuster of 2024.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on April 10 this year.
