Tata Motors Bags Global NCAP's 'Safer Choice Award' For Safari And Harrier
Tata Motors continues to set benchmarks in the Indian automotive industry, making safety a top priority for car buyers across the country.

Tata Motors has just added another feather to its cap! Global NCAP has awarded Tata Motors with the prestigious Safer Choice Award for their popular SUVs, the Tata Safari and Harrier.

This honor is reserved for automakers that are committed to the highest safety standards in cars sold in India.

Last year, both the Tata Safari and Harrier earned a stellar five-star rating from Global NCAP for adult and child occupant protection, achieving the highest scores in the #SaferCarsForIndia campaign.

Not stopping there, Tata Motors recently put these SUVs through even more rigorous tests, ensuring they met the requirements for advanced safety features like Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), speed assistance, and Blind Spot Detection (BSD) systems.

David Ward, President of the Towards Zero Foundation, praised Tata Motors, saying, “Tata Motors’ continuing commitment to vehicle safety is very welcome and we are pleased to present the first of our new Safer Choice Awards to them for the Safari and Harrier.”

Mohan Savarkar, Vice President and Chief Product Officer at Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited, expressed pride in this achievement, stating, “With this mission at the forefront, not only is our entire portfolio the highest star rated in their respective segment, but we have gone a step further by having the only SUV line-up in India which is completely 5-star rated, setting a benchmark for the passenger vehicles industry to follow. With this approach, we have ensured that safety now ranks as the top priority for the Indian car buyer.”

Tata Motors continues to set the gold standard in safety, making sure Indian car buyers can drive with peace of mind.
