Maruti Suzuki's Nexa, a doorway to the carmaker's premium offerings is about to get three additions to it in the coming months. The much awaited Baleno RS, Ciaz facelift and Ignis will be sold through Nexa dealerships.
Nexa's spread across the country has picked up, with over 100 dealerships in various cities.
So far the Ciaz was sold through regular dealerships, but Maruti are pitting the new facelift as a premium product that could compete against Honda City and Hyundai Verna, and hence it will be added to Nexa's portfolio.
This move could be opposed by the dealer network, but it will prove to be a healthy decision for Maruti in the long run.Ciaz
