EKA Mobility, a top player in electric vehicle (EV) industry, has partnered with IKEA to power up its last-mile delivery fleet in India with electric vans.
This partnership, backed by major investors Mitsui & Co., Ltd. (Japan) and VDL Groep (Netherlands), is set to drive a greener future in logistics.
So far, EKA has delivered 10 electric vans to IKEA, with plans to expand the fleet across various regions in India. This move is a key part of IKEA’s global effort to cut carbon emissions and achieve a fully electrified delivery network.

This collaboration not only helps IKEA meet its sustainability goals but also sets a new benchmark for the retail industry in adopting electric mobility.
Rohit Srivastava, Chief Growth Officer at EKA Mobility, commented, “By supplying IKEA with our advanced electric delivery vans, we are not only contributing to a cleaner environment but also showcasing the potential of electric vehicles in transforming the logistics industry.
