The Hyundai Elite i20 is probably the best looking premium hatchbacks in India, both from the inside and outside. But the hatchback has started to show its age and need an immediate upgrade. But before it happens, here’s your chance to get your old Elite i20 modified into something eye-catching, something that will attract a lot of eyes on the streets.
Concept Designz, an independent customizer has shared the images of a modified Hyundai i20 that has been named ‘Hyperwode i20’ (we are unsure of the meaning and the reason behind the name). This modified Elite i20 gets lime green and black paint job making it stand out of the crowd.
Apart from the paint job, the custom Elite i20 also gets a front bumper with oversized air inlets featuring a honeycomb lattice pattern along with a sharp lower lip. There’s also a hood mounted air scoop which serves no technical function.
A wide body kit is there with faux air intakes which are placed behind the front wheel arch, which are thicker than the usual. Beneath the wheel arches is the 5-spoke deep silver alloy wheels. The rear gets a custom rear bumper with quad exhaust setup. There are no interior images.
As for the performance, it’s highly unlikely that the Elite i20 has been tuned. Which means, it gets either of the stock engines – the 1.2 L Kappa petrol, 1.4 L petrol and 1.4 L U2 CRDi diesel engines. The Hyundai Elite i20 is priced for Rs 5.31 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
