Pakistanis Troll India After World Cup 2023 Loss Against Australia: 'Inki Haar Me Maza Hai'
Pakistan trolls Indians after Rohit Sharma's men lose World Cup 2023 final against Australia at Narendra Modi Stadium.

In a spectacular showdown at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday, India fell short in the 2023 World Cup final as Australia showcased dominance both with the bat and the ball. The eagerly anticipated star-studded event, filled with extravagant shows, was poised to celebrate India clinching their third World Cup trophy. However, the Aussies had other plans, securing their sixth title with a convincing 6-wicket victory. The hosts managed a modest total of 240, facing a relentless onslaught from the Aussie bowling attack. Travis Head’s remarkable 137 made the chase even smoother.

As Indians grapple with the loss, their Pakistani counterparts have seized the moment, leaving no stone unturned in endless teasing and trolling. On the micro-blogging site ‘X,’ one user mocked, “Rigging the entire tournament in your favor, preparing pitches according to the oppositions and yet bottling when it matters the most.”

Another chimed in with a poetic touch, saying, “Na ishq main, na pyar main, jo maza India ki haar main.”

Adding to the post-match drama, Babar Azam took to Instagram to congratulate Australia on their commanding final performance. “Congratulations @CricketAus ! What a commanding performance in the final,” he wrote. Some couldn’t help but interpret this as Babar’s subtle revenge for Virat Kohli congratulating England on their 2022 T20 World Cup win against Pakistan.

The Twitter (now X) trend ‘Babar Laughed’ also gained momentum as Pakistani fans found humour in imagining Babar’s amusement during India’s top-order struggles early in the match.

Despite the expected banter between India and Pakistan, the ultimate winner in the game is whoever plays better, and on Sunday, the Australians demonstrated their superiority. Despite the commendable effort from Rohit Sharma’s men, who battled with grit on a dry pitch, the Aussie bowlers capitalized on every advantage. Even though India’s bowlers created panic for Australia by dismantling their top order with just 47 for 3 wickets, it simply wasn’t India’s day or year to lift the trophy!
