Woman Fulfils Deceased Father’s Dream By Clearing MPPSC On First Attempt
Sonali was selected for the post of a Deputy Collector after qualifying this examination.

Every parent wants to see their child achieve the best and succeed in life. Burhanpur’s Sonali Agarwal cracked Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) 2019 examination to become a deputy collector. Unfortunately, her father is not here to see her incredible achievements. As per reports, Sonali Agarwal secured 8th rank in MPPSC examination. By qualifying this examination, Sonali was selected for the post of a Deputy Collector. She did not get to share the happiness of her achievement with her father, Giriraj Sharan Agarwal. He died during the Covid-19 pandemic, back in 2021. He had a grocery shop in Jhirniya, Madhya Pradesh.

According to her uncle Govind Sharan Agarwal, Sonali was always interested in studying. He said that after the death of her father in 2021, the whole family gave their full support to her. She studied at a private school of Jhirniya, Madhya Pradesh, and later got selected in the Navodaya Vidyalaya. Then, she completed her BBA from Indore, and gave the MPPSC examination in 2019.

According to reports, she was able to crack the examination in her first attempt. Sonali Agarwal’s mother, Rekha Agarwal, is a housewife; her brother, Hrithik, is completing his studies.

Sonali Agarwal always had a keen interest in studies. Reportedly, she stopped attending family functions to give time to her preparations, as she had the dream to become an IAS (Indian Administrative Service) officer. The untimely demise of her father made her even more determined to achieve her goal.

The MPPSC SSE (State Service Examination) 2019 result was released on December 26, 2023. Interestingly enough, the topper list of the examination consisted of the names of female candidates only. As per reports, seven women made it to the top 10 list of the exam – Priya Pathak, Shivangi Baghe, Pooja Soni, and Nidhi Mishra achieved the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th ranks respectively.
