'Series Set up Marvellously': Fans React as India Thump England by 106 Runs in Vizag to Level Series 1-1
Fans took to social media to express their delight with the series-levelling win as they praised the home nation for the brilliant win.

Team India posted a 106-run win over their English counterparts on Monday at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Vizag to level the ongoing five-match series at 1-1 with three games yet to be played.

Fans took to social media to express their delight with the series-levelling win as they praised the home nation for the brilliant win.

One fan posted an update that read, “Congratulations India! That was a fun test match with some great individual performances – Jaiswal and Gill with the bat and undoubtedly Bumrah with the ball. On England’s side, Anderson and Hartley stood out, whilst Crawley has rewarded England’s faith in him. On to Rajkot!”

One account shared a video of the Indian faithful celebrating in the stands as India bundled out England in the second innings to seal their triumph with the caption, “The moment India won the second Test”

Pakistani cricketer Mohammed Amir posted an update that read, “Fantastic win for India in today’s test match against England! Excellent performances by both bowlers and batsmen showcase the team’s skill and determination.”

One fan expressed his polemic take on the game as he posted, “We criticized India when they lost in Hyderabad despite losing by just 28 runs. I hope after all the hype yesterday evening, England’s reckless approach is criticized instead of saying “We lost, but did you see Bazball made India nervous?” overglorifying. Sensible batting and England could have actually won this..they are playing that well”

One fan noted that pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who picked up six wickets in the first innings and added a further 3 in the second innings was the difference between the sides.

His post read, “Bumrah’s been the difference between the two teams. But for him, the match would have been far closer. Even been adverse to India. Plaudits to England for a spirited performance, but Bumrah turned things around every time there was a crisis. Series set up marvellously!”

Another fan posted, “England have been more competitive than anyone could have hoped for this series, but the worry for them is it’s 1-1 and India still have Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami to come back”

Another user opined that India deserved to win the game and lauded the efforts of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Bmrah who shone for the hosts.

The five-match Test series is poised evenly at 1-1 ahead of the third Test slated to be played at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot, scheduled to begin on the 15th of February.
