Doing justice to his reputation, Crouch recently recognised himself as one of the “10-foot-tall aliens” that were claimed to be spotted recently on a hilltop on Ilha do Mel – a small island near the coast of the state of Parana in Brazil.

A clip claiming mysterious creatures is going viral with users trying to put their own spin on what it could be about.

The former Liverpool striker reshared the post from his personal handle and hilariously claimed that the tall figure in question was actually him.

“We were on a family holiday. Please respect our privacy at this time,” Crouch wrote in the caption.

During his playing days, Crouch was hard to ignore thanks to his tall frame.

The 6ft 7 inch England international spent the best time of his career with Liverpool and also hit the headlines with his iconic ‘Robot Dance’ celebration.
