OnePlus, Oppo, And Realme Phones To Support This New Connectivity Feature: All Details
At Oppo's developer conference, it was announced that Windows Phone Link and Link to Windows features will be coming to Oppo, OnePlus, and Realme phones.

OnePlus, Oppo, and Realme devices are set to support Phone Link and Link to Windows functionality, as announced during Oppo’s developer conference, and in an official document update by Microsoft. Notably, these features were previously exclusive to Samsung, Microsoft Surface Duo, and Honor smartphones only.

As spotted by WindowsLatest, the Phone Link app will be available on select Oppo devices running ColorOS 14, including OnePlus and Realme devices as well. But the publication notes that it is unclear when this update would be available, and which models will include the “Link to Windows” in their quick settings.

The following smartphones are set to receive the Phone Link experience:

  • OnePlus
  • Oppo Find Series
  • Realme Series
  • Oppo Reno Series

Microsoft also acknowledges these models in this official support document here. Like Samsung and other few devices with official support for Phone Link, Oppo, OnePlus, and Realme devices would be get better integration with Windows 11 and 10, and allow users to enjoy features like being able to pick up calls, reply to messages–right on your PC.

What Is Windows Phone Link?

For those unfamiliar, the Windows Phone Link PC app and Link to Windows app allow you to easily access content from your Android device directly on your Windows PC. And, as mentioned before, it permits you to make and receive phone calls, reply to text messages, view all notifications, and even drag and drop files for seamless file sharing.

Having said that, this experience certainly makes you feel like part of an ecosystem of products. Having used Samsung devices in tandem, we can attest that it works well. This is undoubtedly a positive development for Oppo, OnePlus and Realme users, and would allow these users with Windows 11 PCs feel right at home.

What's your reaction?
