Apple Vision Pro Headset Could Hit Stores By The End Of January: Ming-Chi Kuo
Apple Vision Pro could be available at official Apple stores by the end of January or early February as per a new post by Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo.

Apple Vision Pro is set to launch in early 2024, but the company hasn’t announced a release date yet. However, multiple experts, now including the notable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, predict that the mixed reality headset could hit store shelves in the US in late January or early February.

Kuo claims that Apple will ship 5,00,000 units of the Vision Pro headset in 2024. He also says the headset is in mass production and that the first shipments will arrive in the first week of January.

This corroborates with what Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said earlier this month. He, too, mentioned that the Vision Pro headset launch could be set for February. Prior to this, he claimed that Apple is going to train its store employees in the US so that they can make the Vision Pro setup easy for customers.

Kuo also notes that the Vision Pro is Apple’s “most important product” for 2024, and that positive feedback from users could help cement it as the “next star product in consumer electronics.”

Apple also recently enabled Spatial Video recording, which are life-like immersive videos that can only be played on the Vision Pro, on the top-end iPhone 15 Pro models. This is another sign that the launch is imminent.

That said, there are a few key details that Apple has already revealed, including the price and availability of the headset. It will be available for retail starting at $3,499 and will initially be a US exclusive. That said, more should be revealed as we step into 2024, and if a launch does materialise, Apple could make an announcement soon.
