The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has issued the INI CET PG Counselling 2024 notification. The open-round counselling date has been announced. Interested students can view the official counselling schedule on AIIMS’ official website, aiimsexams.ac.in. According to the official schedule, the tentative vacancy in various subjects/specialities after allotment in the second round of online seat allocation is released on January 19, and the registration and exercise of Choices (Institute and subject/specialty) for the Open Round of Seat Allocation will take place from January 19 to January 25.

The seat allotment results will be displayed on February 10, and the allotted seats can be accepted online between February 12 and February 19. The reporting period spans February 12 to February 19. The candidate’s choices will be locked either manually or automatically on the last date and time indicated in the portal.

Candidates who took the INI-CET PG for the January 2024 session on November 5, 2023, and scored the required percentile would be considered provisionally eligible to participate in the Open Round of Seat Allocation. The minimum scores required are as follows- a) Unreserved (UR)/EWS/Foreign National/OCI – 50 per cent b) OBC, SC, ST, and PwBD: 45 per cent c) Bhutanese national, 45 per cent.

“The link for the portal will be activated only for eligible candidates on ‘MyPage’. Candidates can login using the credential that has been used for filling application form and completing other processes related to INI-CET PG Entrance Examination for January 2024 session in www.aiimsexams.ac.in,” reads the official notification shared by the institute.

Those who qualify in the AIIMS INI CET counselling round will qualify for PG programmes at AIIMS, New Delhi, and other institutes including Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) Puducherry, National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) Bengaluru, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh, and Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) Trivandru.

Candidates who pass the INI CET 2024 entrance test will be accepted for the following courses – Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), Masters of Surgery (MS), Masters of Chirurgie (MCh), and Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS) seats across India. They are advised to visit the official website for any further notice or updates.
