A bad news for all the people staying in Banglore. The city is likely to witness one of the worst traffic conditions in the upcoming months. It has been reported that Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation (BMRCL) is all set to close the Silk Board Junction flyover in the city, as authorities will kickstart the construction work for Namma Metro.
Official says the construction work will run for four months, which might increase the city traffic for the better future.

In order to educate the public, the Namma Metro also released an official statement regarding the same. It says that a blockade will be installed for almost 4 months, along with a 2.5-meter section on both sides of the flyover, covering the main lane near Madiwala.
Master to Control Traffic
Amid this, it has been reported that the top officials are working on a master, which will benefit the public from the mind-bursting traffic. In this regard, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, who is also a minister of Bengaluru development, suggested an underground tunnel network. To which, experts argued and stayed in favour of the mass transit system.
School Timing Modification Request By Kerala HC
Earlier, In order to avoid the traffic, the Karnataka High Court also suggested the schools to modify timings, which was later rejected by the parents and administrator.
All About Namma Metro
Meanwhile, Namma Metro is considered the second biggest metro network nationwide. It has been spread over a total of 72.2 km and 97.84 km is still under construction. The network has 66 stations, among which 59 elevate and 7 have been constructed underground.
The Namma Metro network has only two lines as of now – Purple and Green lines. The former one covers somewhere 42.17 km, and has been divided into 37 stations. While the latter one only runs on 3 km, and has 29 stations.
