Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film, Dunki, has been receiving immense love from his devoted fans. It marks his third release this year. Undeterred by the chilly weather, enthusiasts flocked to theaters, showcasing their support for Khan and Hindi cinema. Social media is buzzing with pictures and clips capturing fans celebrating the movie like a festival. Whether through SRK cardboard cut-outs or fireworks outside cinema halls, fans are leaving no stones unturned displaying their love. Interestingly, some gestures have even captured SRK’s attention. Amid the widespread reactions, videos from Mumbai’s Gaiety Galaxy are stealing the spotlight, featuring fans happily dancing and cheering for the superstar while Lutt Putt Gaya plays.

The 5:55 am screening of Dunki at Gaiety Galaxy marks a historic moment, being the earliest ever show at this iconic theatre. Prior to this, no film had premiered before noon at this venue. The screening was organised by SRK’s prominent fan club, SRK Universe, known for arranging early morning shows for previous movies like Pathaan and Jawan at Gaiety. Impressively, the fan club has arranged at least 1000 exclusive screenings worldwide. Currently, numerous videos from the theatre are getting viral attention.

A day before the premiere of Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, the 58-year-old actor held an AskSRK session, encouraging fans and followers on X to post questions. Recently, the actor was in Dubai for promotional activities; however, the Pathaan star took a break to interact with his fans, with his humorous style. Among all the questions, a fan asked about his wife Gauri Khan’s response to the film, Shah Rukh Khan replied, “She said it’s a film to be very proud of and loved the humour.”

Another inquired if the actor is planning to show the movie to his youngest son, AbRam. The superstar responded, revealing that AbRam has already watched the film and even enjoys singing the comical song I want to go to the lavatory, featured in a humorous scene sung by Boman Irani in the trailer. Previously, reports surfaced online that the movie received a standing ovation following its screening for the censor board at Vox Cinemas in Dubai.

Dunki has become the first collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and director Rajkumar Hirani. The film features talented actors like Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal, in key roles.
