Recently, a video surfaced online depicting a disturbing incident of road rage in Bengaluru. The footage showcased an unfortunate event where a car fell victim to an attack by individuals on a scooter, adding to the growing concern about the escalating cases of road rage in the city.

The Instagram page @safecars_india shared the video, revealing the shocking sight of a car with a cracked and damaged front window, allegedly a result of the attack. The accompanying audio captured a woman’s voice, filled with fear, offering suggestions to the driver as they attempted to navigate past a man standing in front of their car, while another stood with his scooter on the side. Despite the driver’s attempts to intimidate the man in front by reversing and moving forward, the situation remained tense. Only when the driver reversed again did a thumping sound indicate an unintentional collision with another vehicle. Seizing the opportunity, the driver managed to escape the assailants.

The caption accompanying the video shared the specifics of the incident: “Posting my personal experience. Incident occurred on 28th Dec when we were going from e-city to Whitefield to meet family. Near Sloka International (Sarjapur) school, two local guys attacked us because we used the dipper to indicate that we are coming from the opposite direction. They went past us in their scooty, then reversed and came back, placing the scooty in front of us, in the process he knocked the scooty down. Then he started abusing and hitting the car, causing our glass to crack, the bumper was broken, handles of door damaged due to force and multiple scratches. My husband somehow reversed the car and drove away.”
